Pastor Lucas & Ranita Cook

God implanted the vision of Missions Around the World in the hearts of Pastor Lucas and Ranita Cook in 2001.  They credit the many things accomplished to Jesus Christ, their Lord and Savior.  To fulfill the vision of MATW, they have traveled to South Africa nine times.  While in Africa, they have fed and clothed many men, women and children and have held multiple tent crusades; where many souls were saved and set free.

In the last two years, MATW has been involved in an orphanage building project in Oribi Gorge Durban, South Africa. The orphanage feeds over 200 children daily and facilitates the housing of 36.

Lucas and Ranita have been married for twenty-three years and live in Mt. Solon Virginia. Pastor Lucas is the full-time Senior Pastor at Faith Outreach Ministries, a sister ministry of MATW. Ranita is co-pastor and worship leader at FOM and is employed in Bridgewater, Virginia at a major distribution center. They spend free time together riding their VTX 1800 Honda motorcycle, taking in the beautiful surrounding countryside. Lucas enjoys golfing in his spare time and Ranita enjoys her pets.

Allen & Jackie Burner

Allen & Jackie Burner have been a part of Missions Around the World since October 2005. After returning home to Virginia after a year in North Carolina, they felt a call to help Lucas and Ranita Cook with their ministry.  The couple has hearts to see souls saved and evangelize wherever God calls. Allen currently serves as Advisor of the MATW Board and Jackie is Treasurer.  They live in Staunton Virginia and attend Faith Outreach Ministries, a sister ministry of MATW. Both are active at the church on the Worship Team. Allen is on the FOM Board of Elders and Jackie is the Director of Women of Faith Women’s Ministries.   Allen delivers for FedEx and Jackie works as a branch manager at a local bank.  Allen’s hobbies include playing the guitar and designing websites.  While, Jackie loves decorating and reading Southern Living Magazines.   They have been married for 5 years.

Melvin & Debbie Keagy

Melvin & Debbie Keagy have served on the Missions Around the World board since May 2009.  Melvin was elected Secretary at that time.  He went on his first MATW trip in August 2009 to the Oribi Gorge orphanage in South Africa.  His heart is to minister to the children first-hand.  They both look forward to the opportunity to go work in the orphanage this fall. Melvin and Debbie attend Grace Covenant Church in Harrisonburg, VA, where Debbie is employed as the Children's Ministry Director.  Melvin is an outside sales rep for Contractors and Industrial Supply.  They have three children and two grandchildren
